OBJECTIVE

A full-time appointment as English Language Instructor, Editor, or Technical Writer for an Overseas University utilizing academic expertise acquired over a period of more than 30 years in academia, international business, French-English translation, and in the fields of corporate technical writing, teaching, and industrial management.


EMPLOYMENT CHRONOLOGY

2003 to 2014  Transnational Research Associates, China University of Mining & Technology, City University of Hong Kong 

Adjunct Professor, Senior Research Associate, Instructor at several tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and China. Conducted research in management, marketing, business ethics and technology transfer. Taught journal publication skills, edited PhD dissertations and prepared textbook chapters for publication.

1987 - 2003 Transnational Research Associates (Boston, Quebec City, San Diego, Denver, San Antonio, Hong Kong)

Served as Acting President of small research firm specializing in human rights publications. Financing and grant-writing projects. Extensive writing, editing and contact with minority populations and youth. Currently conducting research and preparing formal papers, bilingually (French/English) at the Graduate and Post-Graduate Levels, focusing primarily on Border Issues, Industrial Management and Business Psychology. Also engaged in privately commissioned academic writing.

Held a variety of responsible 3 to 4 year positions ranging from Secondary Teacher for a Major Urban School District and Night Manager of a 350-bed pediatric hospital, to Federal Social Worker and Chief Translator of major Engineering Projects in Central Africa.
